Has there been any progress on moving the web site yet, perchance?
Here's a first shot at what services I think we need:
- DNS hosting
- Subversion (or some version control system)
- Wiki
- Web site hosting
- Mailing list hosting
- Searchable mailing list web archives
Rich indicated that he wanted a simple "web registration system" so
that he can get an accurate head count for meetings. That would
likely come after the initial move to the new site -- perhaps even a
wiki could be a temporary workaround...?
FWIW, I notice that whois lists a name/address at Argonne as the owner
of the "mpi-forum.org" domain. Whatever changes are made will first
need to coordinate through Argonne to get the DNS setup.
