Dear Richard,

I'll be happy to give Chapter 7 and, if I have time Chapter 6, a  
careful read and contribute contribute any comments I have in the  
context of the first item. Who is aggregating this input?

Before leaping into MPI 3.0, I suggest that it would be useful to have  
some means (perhaps a meeting) for MPI users to give reports of their  
experience with the standard. It will help to set the context and  
priority for any future effort.

I would certainly like to hear user experiences from the frontline of  
developers using MPI over the past decade or more. In fact, I would be  
happy to aggregate such reports and provide an analysis of them.
