I will most likely attend, but I can't of course guarantee it.

I don't think you can deal with the contractual obligation of reserving 
a block of rooms in a specific hotel. The savings are not worth it IMHO, 
and we should not have capacity problems. Driving away from airport can 
be a good idea, but don't expect a shuttle far from the airport (free 
shuttle is usually a 3 to 5 miles radius). You may have more luck around 
Midway rather than O'hare.
