Re: [mpi-21] SC'07 MPI Forum organization meeting

I want to mention a couple of issues I have to face developing Python
wrappers for MPI. Sorry if any of those issues were already discussed.

1.- MPI 2.0 does not specify what MPI_Alloc_mem() should return when a
memory block of 0(zero) size is requested, that is, it should return a
NULL pointer, or should return a valid (non NULL) pointer to a memory
block of length zero?

2.- MPI_Group operations may return MPI_GROUP_EMPTY. Should users
always call MPI_Group_free() with this handle when it is no longer
needed (like with error handlers), or users should not be able to free
this predefined handle, and and explicit check for the empty group
have to be done?
