Dear Hyojeong,

The goal of MPI and real-time MPI as its subset is to allow
portability of applications between different platforms.
Hence, no assumptions are made about hardware, protocols and so on.
MPI API will no give access to the underlyinh hardware feasures.
However, if underlying hardware/protocols support some useful
feasures and MPI implementation use them... then you probably
get a superior product and demonstrate that a specific platform
is better for real-time applications domain.

Dear every members.

I have a novice to MPI, so if my questions are non-sense,
just ignore them.

My main interest is H/W router design for communication network of paralle
computer.
So, I want to know whether your discussion ranges over H/W router design to

support for Real-time communications.
If so, what is router design with some agreement until now?
Otherwise, what router architecture do you assume,
considering RT-MPI?
