I think so, it has a 15 bit exponent field and a 112 bit mantissa, and
follows all the normal IEEE rules for exponent excess, sign bits,
denorms, implied leading 1 on normal numbers etc.

It is supported (in software) on Alpha and (also in software, I think)
on Sparc.
