(Bill--If I get the example put together with figures, what format would
you prefer for figures. I usually work on a Mac, but can convert to almost
anything I think.)
page 38, lines 15 & 46 --Don't the Fortran calls for both these functions
need IERROR added? Errors are unlikely, but C & C++ return int's that I
assume are error indicators.
page 39, line 44 -- Add sentence that oldtype does not have to be contiguous.
page 41, line 25 -- says starts is always indexed from zero, but Fortran
example on pp.42 has it indexed from 1. I would prefer to change the text,
since most places Fortran indexing starts at one rather than zero.
page 43, line 5 -- MPI_Type_darray should be marked as collective.
