Informal MPI-2 I/O Gathering, June 27, NASA Ames, CA

Due to popular demand and relative proximity of a number of people,
there will be a meeting to discuss the MPI-2 I/O chapter at NASA Ames
Research Center (Mountain View, CA) on Thursday, June 27th.

The meeting will be quite informal. We will not be taking any votes
(straw or otherwise). I expect we will be having focused discussions
to hammer out the details of various I/O proposals, e.g.:

alternative simplified open
file interoperability
file control
new "info" interface
layerability requirements

All interested parties are welcome to attend, but I will need a list
of names for the gate guards by Tuesday, June 25th. (Due to time
constraints, the gathering may be restricted to US citizens and
permanent residents---if you are neither and would like to attend,
send me a note and I'll see what I can do.)

Please respond by next Tuesday, June 25th to "nitzberg@nas.nasa.gov"
if you will be joining us.
