MPI IO meeting before the next MPI Forum

In the June MPI Forum, there were suggestions about getting together before the
July MPI forum meeting but never decided. I saw the MPIDC at Notra Dame has
scheduled an MPI IO panel discussion on July 2nd. Is this related to the IO
chapter in any formal/official manner?
