Certainly, the scope of the subcommittee's discussions went beyond the
concerns expressed in the latest messages from Anurag, Terry, and Rajeev.
I suggest that initial discussions on this subject be limited to
a request for functionalities; i.e., without reference to a specific
calling interface. This will aid those compiling "wish lists".
Also, a posting of the functionalities considered by the subcommittee
would probably be of great use at this point.
