Re: new chapter available

The problems with our computer systems caused mail that Marc sent me
last week to arrive this morning. It contained an update to the
threads section he wrote. The original version was included in the
latest full document release. As a result, I am putting a new version
of the external chapter out. It is available at
ftp://ftp.cs.wisc.edu/pub/mpi2/ei-970210.ps. The only difference from
the Feb 8 version is the threads discussion (and the page numbers
differ).
