I would much prefer that we use the traditional argv approach for command
lines. I just threw out the string idea because like Raja, I think that the
current design combines all of the disadvantages of parsing with all of the
disadvantages of an extra object interface; we should go with one or the other.

If we kept the object approach for info key/value pairs and used an array of
char pointers for command lines, I think we would be well on our way to a
cleaner interface. We could then concentrate on making the info objects right
for both the dynamic and the io chapters.
