Errors in "task farm example"??

There are unknown routines in the "task farm example"
(page 19, lines 39+43, page 20, lines 3+4):

I did not found in the index of MPI-1 and MPI-2 the routines
MPI_Group_init and MPI_Group_start_independent.

It seems that this example is written with an earlier version
of MPI_SPAWN.
