Steve, I will clearly integrate Marc's proposal into the document.
I will look at the issues of the full- and half-duplex approaches,
and possible differences in implementation cost.

The message of Marc does not impact constructors, only communication
operations, so there will still be new calls for intercommunicators
in this area. Furthermore, I will review Nathan's comments with him.

For the SC'95 discussion, Marc's comments came too late for me to
integrate them into the slides I had written, which I have now thrown
out. I will just discuss the issues involved in intercomm stuff informally
in my 5 minutes.
